Overview of True Foundation
The first thing that we need to know is that The Foundation is divided into Three Sections.
True Righteousness, True Worship, and True Judgment.
True Righteousness
True Righteousness is divided into, what True Righteousness is, how True Righteousness comes, and how True Righteousness works in real life.
True Worship
The Middle Division of the True Foundation is, True Worship.
True Worship is divided into Giving, Praying, Fasting, and the Use of Wealth.
True Judgment
The last division of the True Foundation is True Judgment. True Judgment is divided into, Judge not. Judge Your Self, and Judge others, but only to help, The Golden Rule, Pray for Wisdom and Discernment, Two Paths, Two Trees, and Two Foundations.
Going deeper into True Righteousness we have…
True Righteousness what it is.
True Righteousness is an Attitude, or more precisely, Four Attitudes. Our attitude about Our Self, Our attitude about Our Sins, Our attitude about The Lord, and our attitude about the World.
Starting at the beginning, the attitude about ourselves should be that we are, Seriously Humble, in our Gifts and Talents, and in our Measure of Faith.
Seriously Humble
We start with the first image representing “Seriously Humble”.
Jesus said Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. The poor in spirit are the humble, or the opposite of the rich in spirit, or the arrogant.
Paul advises us not to think to highly of ourselves, but to think humbly of ourselves, according to our Measure Of Faith.
Turtle Shell Woman
In the image we see a woman. The title of the image is” Turtle Shell Woman “, so I suppose that the structure in her background would be a Turtle Shell. The object atop her head looks to be some kind of water carrier with a handle, she balances it on the top her head to free her hands.
Seriously Humble is her attitude, because she realizes that the Lord God has made her and she has not made herself. The meaning therefore of this image is that the Lord has made us and not we ourselves. Blessed are the poor in spirit (The Humble) for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Joan Dance Paintings designates this Image as the first Image in the Prayer Closet Images Collection. Carry this Image into your Prayer Closet, and review the image to assure your focus, and to get started on your personal prayer in your Prayer Closet.
Jesus said “Go into your Prayer Closet” and, “Close The Door”, and commune with your Father in private, and your Father in Heaven will answer you publicly.
It is written that obedience is better than sacrifice. To be obedient to The Lord God causes great things to happen. Try it, you will definitely like it.
Take your chair into the Prayer Closet, close the door, and commune with The Father. I did this and the results were breathtaking, obedience to the Lord is emotional indeed. Go in, shut the door, and commune with the Father. You will never be the same.
Get your copy of each key as they roll out, click the edmonds-gallery.com link to the store. Order with or without the frame. Reproductions start at $1.99, they start small and without the matting and frames, they will be a bit more with the matting and frames added, but well worth the price for an eternal addition. These are images that last a lifetime, get them while they last.
The first key, “Turtle Shell Woman”, represents “Seriously Humble” from the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus says, “Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom Of Heaven. The “Poor in Spirit’ are the Humble, or the opposite of the Rich in Spirit, which are the Arrogant. Translated into modern language this saying of Jesus is rendered as, “Blessed are the humble for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven”. It is further written, For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Buy your first print that gives you focus in your very own Prayer Closet, and experience obedience to the Lord God.

In the New Testament, in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus says, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3). This verse is often understood to mean that those who recognize their spiritual poverty and their need for God’s grace are blessed and will inherit the kingdom of heaven. The “poor in spirit” are those who are humble, acknowledging their dependence on God rather than relying on their own pride or self-sufficiency.
The idea of being “rich in spirit” or “arrogant” would be the opposite of being “poor in spirit” in this context. Arrogance and self-righteousness can blind people to their need for God’s forgiveness and guidance.
The Apostle Paul also speaks about humility in his letters to various early Christian communities. In Romans 12:3, he advises believers “not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.” Here, Paul encourages humility and a realistic assessment of one’s abilities and role within the faith community. He reminds believers that any faith and gifts they have come from God and should not be a cause for pride or boasting.
In summary, both Jesus and Paul emphasize the importance of humility and a recognition of our dependence on God’s grace and guidance. Being “poor in spirit” means being humble, while being “rich in spirit” or arrogant is discouraged in the Christian teachings.
Herman,
Thanks for the on time comment. You are correct in your assessments.

Seriously gorgeous!
Although I do have a few questions–
“Survive The Storm”
“It has been said that the storm will come, yet the Good Foundation protects our house from collapse by remaining unwashed out by the storm. The storms of life will come, yet Jesus gives us a True Foundation that allows us to survive the storm.”
What does that mean exactly? Does it mean that our humility and lack of arrogance is our Good Foundation? That was the sense I got, but it wasn’t clear to me. Or is it our righteousness? Or can we even have righteousness without humility?
“True Worship is divided into Giving, Praying, Fasting, and the Use of Wealth.”
I’ve never heard that said like that before. Where does it come from?
“The last division of the True Foundation is True Judgment. True Judgment is divided into, Judge not. Judge Your Self, and Judge others, but only to help, The Golden Rule, Pray for Wisdom and Discernment, Two Paths, Two Trees, and Two Foundations.”
I really like that! But again, I’ve never heard it put like this. Where does it come from? And can you elaborate on it? I’m really wondering what the Two Paths, Two Trees and Two Foundations mean. Are the Two Trees the Tree of Life and the Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil? That’s what I would think. But what does it mean in this context? And what are the Two Paths? Are they the choice between taking the humble way or the arrogant way? And what are the Two Foundations?
This is really interesting and also perplexing.
The art is fabulous though!
Thanks
Anna
